After tackling the kitchen floor on their own, the Cvitanovich's decided to have The Remodeling Company do a complete overhaul of the outdated kitchen in their Newport News home. Here's a brief description of what was done:
- The beige-painted cabinets, faux brick, appliances, plumbing and lighting were all completely removed, down to the studs.
- The walls were sheet rocked (and later painted white) and modern, white stock cabinets were installed.
- The former island was replaced with a custom built version of the wall cabinets with a two-tier top to maximize functionality.
- Gray Corian countertops with an undermount stainless steel sink and a single-hole faucet keep with the modern look.
- Recessed lighting and a curved track light were added over the island.
- Stainless steel appliances provided by the customer were installed to complete the remodel.
